Sport X Aarhus to Sport X Tribe: migrating to a new site

Sport X Aarhus changed its name to Sport X Tribe. Sounds simple. It wasn't.

A name change that involves an existing website with members, booking, content and a lot of stuff built up over time is never just a find-and-replace. You have to move everything that works, fix everything that doesn't, and make sure none of your current users fall through the cracks.

Migrating the existing content to a new site under the new identity.

A new visual line that matched what Sport X Tribe wanted to signal. More tribe, less local sports centre.

Redirects, setup, testing. Every old URL that pointed somewhere now points to the right place.

The switch was quiet. Nobody lost access to anything. The site was ready from day one under the new name and the new identity.
